Vision Statement

River of Life Community Church
A house of Prayer
Worship and restoration
for Haverhill and Beyond

Committed to the  Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20

We are a multicultural church passionate about establishing the Kingdom
of God in Haverhill, the surrounding villages and in all nations. We believe
that God has called us to develop in the following areas during 2025
and beyond.

House of Prayer:
We believe in the power of prayer to transform lives and communities.
As a church and as part of the Body of Christ we are called to pray and
intercede.

House of Worship:
We believe in the power of worship in every aspect of life.
We long to be a church praising and worshiping continually because
the Father seeks true worshipers.

House of Restoration:
We know that only Jesus can change and restore those who need a
miracle in their lives.
We long to see every part of our community (individuals, families,
youth and older people) being transformed by the power of God.

Committed to the Great Commission:
We are passionate about sharing the good news of salvation in every
possible way.
We are committed to equipping God’s people for the work He calls us
to do.

As a Bible-believing church, the following Bible Verses help us to focus on
these things:
Prayer - Matthew 18:19; Ezekiel 22:30.
Worship - Acts 16:25; John 4:23.
Restoration - John 10:10; Romans 12:2
The Great Commission - Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:20; Ephesians 4:12

NEW TO RIVER OF LIFE?

whether you are looking for a church or seeking to explore the Christian faith we would love to see you.

SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS

Our Sunday morning worship is passionate and we trust our Bible teaching is relevant and applicable. After the service there is an opportunity for individual prayer and for you to ask any questions.

Coffee and tea is available after the service – a great opportunity to hang around and chat and get to know people. Children stay with the main congregation until about 11am and then they have their own groups.  All our children’s workers have had DBS checks and we have a current child protection policy.

We have a Welcome Team (you can spot them by their badges!), so if you need assistance with anything then they are on hand to help.

We are a growing church so don’t worry- it’s unlikely you be the only new person!

DURING THE WEEK

A great way to get to know people and find out more about the church is to join a Connect Group. If you are interested either email the church office or ask one of our Welcome Team on a Sunday morning.

Some things people have said about us...

‘I think they greet people well and they're very inclusive’
